Stayed here under the Passport America rate. This is an old park with narrow sites. With both slides out we were halfway over the patio for the park model next door. Good thing they weren't there.
This is a very nice campground with wide, secluded sites. The only bad thing was the pea gravel at all the sites: it tracks easily into your motorhome. We would stay here again.
The 1 mile plus access road into this park is narrow and hilly. This is an old campground with narrow, dirty sites. Because of the trees you can barely get the slides out. Could not use our window awnings because of the trees. If a motorhome with slides was next to you, you would not be able to put out the big awning. We would not stay here again.
We stayed here at the Humboldt Redwoods State Park, Albee Creek in a 33-foot motorhome. This should be tent camping only as there are only a few sites that will accommodate a motorhome and they are not level. The access road is a 5+ mile, one lane, full of pot-holes, blind curves and redwood trees that our motorhome mirrors only missed by inches. We would not stay here again.
Had a nice grassy site that wasn't on the lake. People that worked there were friendly and the meals in the restaurant were very good. It would have been nice if the store & restaurant would have opened before 9:00 A.M.
This is a nice quiet park with lots of birds and wildlife. The only drawback is the 1.2 mile gravel access road which would be awfully dusty in dry weather. We camped there using Passport America.
Very nice campground - was like being in a forest service campground. Only drawback was the dirt access road, but worth it once you got there. Would stay here again.
